Martha Stewart’s Wedding Party last weekend featured dozens of talented wedding professionals, and it was such a treat for us, at The Booth, to be amongst such a wonderful and creative crowd. Ara Farnam of Rock Paper Scissors styled our set and tables beautifully (as always), and the teriffic folks at Sugar Flower Cake Shop even loaned us a gorgeous cake (pictured below). We were especially delighted to have captured Martha, herself– even in passing– with a camera in tow!
There is no better part of the city to spend a 100F day than the LES, and there was no better event to be at than Castle and Pierpont’s on Wednesday night. After a glass of rose from Royal Wine Merchants and few samples from our friends over at Sugar Flower Cake Shop, the heat was all but forgotten, and guests started piling into The Booth. We had a great time exhibiting at the New York Magazine Wedding show last week. They do a great job bringing in vendors that represent the best in the industry, while keeping a local feel to it.
We were delighted to be randomly placed next to our friend Amy at Sugar Flower Cake Shop. Her work is exquisite.
Our favorite giveaway was from Lauren Sozmen at Loli Events – a cute little tub of jam that couples will enjoy with breakfast the next day!
