Mervyn O'Gorman was an accomplished English electrical and aircraft engineer. His interest in photography led him to become a pioneer of color photography. In 1913, O'Gorman composed the photographs below, today they are featured in many exhibitions around the world. Using the Autochrome Lumière process, he skillfully captured his daughter, Christina in a series of color photographs. The shallow depth of field was created by long exposures and a large aperture, a style many photographers appreciate. Our team enjoys taking on photographer inspired projects, O'Gorman may be our next one!

Steps forward for the LGBT Community
President Barack Obama proclaims June 2015 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month. We are proud to work with companies such as the Anti-violence Project and The Center for Anti-violence education. One thing is for sure, we are all happy to see this progression and will always be supporters.
We know stop motion. This producer mastered it.
A great article on NPR, Son Lux's "Change Is Everything" music video is some of the best stop motion we have ever seen. This reminded us of the stop motion clips we created for airbnb at the Sundance Film Festival.
The Director, Nathan Johnson and the Producers, The Made Shop took stop motion to a whole new level. Two long weeks, over 4,000 frames, and many sore fingers later. This Masterpiece was created. We cannot wait for our next stop motion booth, does anyone sense a challenge brewing?
Happy 10th anniversary to The Huffington Post
The Booth joins The Huffington Post for their 10th anniversary celebration!
The site launched on May 9, 2005, when blog sites were not considered as a news medium. Arianna Huffington, the Huffington Post's founder and editor-in-chief, said that her site proved to be a credible medium. Today the site reaches over 200 million unique visitors per month, and that is something worth celebrating!

The Preakness Stakes approach as The Booth's Stars Shine
The Booth joined Eleven Madison Park at their Annual Kentucky Derby party and as usual, we all had a blast. Neil Patrick Harris photo bombing a group and then showing off a glamorous pose. Can you say legen... wait for it... dary! Even Aziz Ansari was goofing around with our giant sunglasses prop. Bring it on Preakness!
Featured in The Knot
We had the honor of being a part of Ilana and Matthew's elegant wedding. Planning a wedding is a lot of work, it's great to see a couple receive acknowledgment. Theknot.com posted an article about the fabulous day and tagged all the vendors, including The Booth! Not only did Ilana and Matthew create memories for a lifetime, but their guests left our booth with 4x6 prints they can cherish for years to come.

BarkBox brings Puppy Fever To Our Photo Booth
Even The booth was wagging their tails this weekend.
Sigurjon and Justin spent the weekend with Barkbox, the doggie product subscription service, turning cute dogs into glamourous superstars!
Our "puparazzi" coverage on the red carpet captured costumes, treats, and of course, the cutest pups in the world. We absolutely loved being part of the 1st Annual Kentucky Derpy, and can't wait to come back next year!
The Booth Spring party 2015
Our first annual spring fiesta was held at the Tortaria in NYC. Our staff proved they know how to create an unforgettable experience, not only on someone else's job, but at our own party! Channeling upcoming Cinco de Mayo festivities, our group enjoyed margaritas, tacos, tortilla chips, margaritas, guacamole, margaritas and, oh, did we mention, margaritas? Leave it to a bunch of photographers to all leave their cameras at home. Thank goodness for iPhone photo technology.
Favorite photo booths from around the web
The dogs at the Humane Society of Utah got a huge treat with the help of photographer, Guinivere Shuster. They found a creative way to show the world how cute and friendly rescues can be, Photo booth style.
We think every shelter should try this. We would be happy to help!
With faces like this, who could say no?
April Fools Photo Booth Prank
This is an oldie, but goodie from Jay Leno's Tonight Show Days. Glad to highlight some photo booth chicanery on April Fool's Day. The video quality is not the best but it made us laugh. Hope it does the same for you!
Let the Madness Continue!
The Booth wishes you luck with your NCAA Tournament Bracket! May it be a very Sweet 16!

CYCLE FOR SURVIVAL: E's Biker Buddies in The Booth
The time has come for Ethan and his buddies to pick up where they left off last year. We are absolutely thrilled to snap photos at the 2nd annual E's Biker Buddies event! A big thanks to Ethan's Aunt, Corey for inviting us again this year! E's Biker Buddies is the first ever ALL KIDS Cycle for Survival event where every penny raised goes to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for rare cancer research. Last year E's Biker Buddies raised an astounding $85,000 and this year they want to repeat the magic!

All smiles in a picture from last year's event. Ethan on the bike with his buddies on such a great day!
So exciting to see E's Biker Buddies getting the attention of local celebrities like z100's Elvis Duran and the morning show!
The Booth Gets Chilly In Central Park
Last weekend we got together with the Central Park Conservancy to kick off their 35th Anniversary celebration. The chill and snow did not stop people from clicking photos, participating in a silent disco and watching a Valentines Day theme ice sculpture being carved before their eyes. Some photos from the day:

The Booth Loves High Fashion Photo Booths
There's nothing we love more than a creative photo booth idea done well. The Fabulous Patrick Demarchelier photographed celebs photo booth-style with their initials, for Louis Vuitton's Monogram Celebration at the Museum of Modern Art In New York. As seen in InStyle, February 2015.

You might have noticed: we have not updated our blog post, told you about our new photo booth projects in New York and beyond or brought you in on cool photo things around the world. Well, we're back and we have something to share. The Booth did a super custom stop-motion photo booth for Airbnb at the Sundance Film Festival.
